How Do I Brew a
Perfect Cup at Home?
WATER:
Start with cold, fresh, preferably filtered water, heated to just
off the boil.
GRIND:
The right grind depends on how long the coffee and water will be in
contact, from very coarse for a coffee press, to
very fine for an espresso machine.
PROPORTION:
The classis recipe: 10g of ground coffee
for each 180 mL of water. (To moderate your coffee’s
strength, simply add hot water after brewing)
FRESHNESS:
Store your fresh-roasted beans in a dark, airtight container at room
temperature.
